Crisp, rich orange, conical-shaped roots grow to 1.5 inches at top, tapering 6-7 inches to a pointed bottom; high fiber content.  These cold tolerant favorites.   Can be used in succession planting. Should replant every 2 or 3 weeks.  Most of the year.  Sort of a must have for your csa shares and farmers market tables.  The Danvers is a heirloom variety.  And its non gmo and you can save the seeds from it.    If.  You want to can or put in the freezer plant at end of June.     And.  Let em grow.  You can mulch or put straw before the first hard freeze.  And field hold them until your ready to use them
